Thanks again for all of the great responses. I've learned a lot in a short time from all the resources and comments here.

The dealer has been good to communicate with and has answered my questions honestly. That said, I do get the sense they are waiting for someone to come along and buy with their heart, not their head. The car does not run and as the pictures indicate, the chassis does need replaced. I let them know I'm interested just not near their price.

I'll look into the yellow one from Canada next- right after I use google to see who the famous author was that previously owned it

The fact that the red one still has its crossover-tubes seems suspicious, but then mine still had them too until a few months ago.

The yellow car is the best colour in my not-so-humble opinion.
