The ride height for this car is a lot higher than the 68 model I looked at it must have later model springs

Still a nice looking car worth considering at this sought of money

"The cars body panels were all fabricated new from origional lotus moulds"

Wonder who did that? Sounds a bit unlikely. Who's got the original Lotus moulds? - Miles Wilkins?

I thought the same, but I seem to recall another outfit claiming ownership of the ex-Factory moulds - Boss Motors was it ?

Give that the car had a 6-7 year production run, I'm sure more than one set of moulds was produced - maybe they are now scattered to the far winds.......or........ how difficult is it to take a set of moulds from an exiting car ?

Just pondering........

Tim,
I have a test comparison article from Car magazine between UVF103H and a 2 + 2 E Typet from June '70. Cost at the time ?2476 compared to ?2708 for the E.

Well there we go!

Don't tell the e-bay seller though. He must be a dealer and that might push him to make the price even more outrageous. Have you seen that Nutley Sports have still got the Lotus press demonstrator S3 Coupe LNK 120C for sale at ?29,995?

And the blue Plus 2 is on Pistonheads for ?13,000. Doesn't eBay make cars look cheap...for the first few days of the auction at least!

The blue car finished at ?7,350.00, I think that is a good price if all the work has been done.
