Zetec to replace TC?

Why would anyone want their engine ticking over for half an hour?
Something must be going over my head.

My Sprint will happily tickover at 800rpm for an hour or more with bonnet up........ got sidetracked by the phone in the house and forgot it was running !

Makes a mess of the plugs, though !!!

The Zetec will tick over as described also with 45 DCOE's.
At a rated 185 PS (2 liter engine) mine will also tick over for ever.
Higher states of tune generally mean an increase of choke size.
That is all that would be needed to push my engine up to 195 PS but I would then expect Idle problems.
Why did I choose Carbs? They were a gift :lol:
