Dashboard Cover

Hi all
So, my dashboard cover has warped. Taking it apart, it just seems to be filled with fibreglass under the covering of leather. I can see replacement covers around for sale but is there a template or anything available for the more solid part to place underneath the cover?
TIA

That’s called the crash pad by the way. My understanding is they are “unobtainium” but I could be wrong. My crash pad is bonded to the body in some way, so I left it in situ when I sent it for its respray.
I’ll be interested to know if there is a supplier.

Classic Team Lotus have them on their web site for a +2.
Mine was a vinyl covering with a blown foam core. The vinyl was badly cracked so I stripped it all off and was left with the flexible foam core. I covered this with fibre glass tissue to give it some shape then fibre glass matting on the underside to give it strength. Then lots of filling and sanding to get a smooth surface now it's being professionally covered with leather over a thin foam layer.
With hind site I would probably try and repair the damage to the original vinyl surface and then re covered with leather.

One of mine is cracked and junk now
Someone had suggested semi-flexible thinnish plastic covered in foam, then vinyl or leather years back
Anyone’s SMART phone have a 3D-scanner?
