The +2 I’ve been working on, driving and enjoying for 10+ years. Is about to undergo some body off improvements.
Over the years, I’ve toyed with the idea of an elan nose on the +2. Changing tail lights, removing bumpers and smoothing lines etc.
The +2 has really grown on me. So now, no changes planned.
I am hoping for a history lesson on 50/ 1287 please.
I understand the original owner was a pearl importer in BC, Canada.

As a starter, 50/1287 was invoiced by Lotus on 7/7/69 with engine No. M19550.
That's all I have, but contact Andy Graham at Lotus to get more information.
