History of GMX 30J

Dear Plus 2 enthusiasts, I've just purchased this 1971 Elan +2 reg GMX30J and wonder if anyone has any knowledge of its former life?

It's a Zetec Spyder and lived in Cornwall prior to the garage I bought it from in south Wales acquiring it and bringing the car up to the current standard.

It used to be silver and blue, and via the power of Google Image search, found an old picture of her on the Tregrehan Hill Climb event in Cornwall. If anyone else knows of this car or has owned it please let me know.
