+2 door weatherstrip / felt

I didn't take my doors apart and having ordered the 'correct ' parts from suppliers can't work out how the felt seals and clips are placed.
I've read that the clips hook onto the internal stainless bar from the bottom and the felt rod sits in these but my stainless bar is 'L' shaped as below so this can't happen. If i fit the clips from the top then the hook for the felt seal will be facing downwards. I suspect this could be somehing simple i'm missing, or that the clips i've been supplied are incorrect, can anyone help please?

Hi
Are the clips the original ones or new? I think you need a flat S shaped clip which would allow you to push the felt strip down against the bar.

Clip on the left is like the ones Matty sold me for my baby Elan. The clips have to be assembled onto the door by going too low & the small u clamping onto a piece of metal by pulling back up.., I made a tool which works very well..,

Thanks Gordon, wss driving mad that i couldn't work out how to fit the ones i'd been sent, fortunately the correct ones seem to be available from all the normal sources as it looks like they are a standard triumph part.
Thanks pharriso, saw your tool, but can't see how it can work on mine as the bracket is an L shape, its about 5mm wide at the bottom.
