Picking this up on Sunday /Monday next week .. It is in Holland so it will be on the ferry back to Newcastle sunday night / Monday.
Very happy with it and can't wait to drive it back up home. Always a soft spot for the +2.... love it.
What do the team think?

Looks great Alex. Sure you will find getting in and out of the Plus 2 much easier. What engine / transmission does the car have?

Thanks Alan.
Got to get it over here though. A question of VAT has arisen!!
I do hope I don't have tax to pay or it could scupper the deal.

Correct!
Alex, you just need to contact the DVLA and re- register the car in the UK. You should be able to recover its original registration number as well, ask Alan Morgan and Andy Graham for assistance and guidance.

yes.. Further research has pointed this out.. Panic over..LOL
Looks like Mot 1st then the required Forms from DVLA.
Real pity about the local offices closing. Last time I did this (Lambretta) it was a skoosh. Took about 30 mins. Job done.
Just have to suck it and see.
Everything is in place Insurance wise (me) and export wise (vendor) and invoice / bill of sale etc all sorted.
I can see a to'ing and fro'ing with DVLA Swansee and them asking to see the car. Thankfully made in the uk.
Looks like fun.. I can see Carol and I down in Swansea with the motorhome for a few days.
LOL...... Thank you men..

Looks lovely Alex, but it's got the wrong engine in it!

Congratulations on the new toy! Take lots of pics of the trip to share

Hi Alex,
That looks +2 looks lovely, should be loads of fun. The colour is stunning, although I my be a little biased with that
Hope is all going well after your treatment, after a few years of losing several close family and friends from various cancers you are the second person this year that I know of who has battled through, all the best for the future.
Chris.
