Which 165/80's ??

I'll carry this on from the "hadling iffy" post, as this old chestnut seems to be hard to get a good answer to..
I want a good 165/80 tyre for the +2. It's got 185s on now, but I feel they're too big, and want to get back to the original delicate handling Colin envisaged.
I DON'T want 175/60s to bugger up my speedo (and they look silly to me), and I don't do any 100mph long trips or track days.....

- Thor, I used to run "Fuelsavers" on the street with my S1, and with good results. They are fairly round-shouldered, and - to my opinion -, handles the rear camber-changes of the Elan quite well. ( I used them for "Autoslalom" as well in Oslo , and was only beaten for the "over-all"
by a Carrera RS, so the grip/handling was OK.....) ( Believe they were 155/70..... )
If you have this hang for "originality", - aren't there any Dunlops around in that size ??

TUSEN TAKK, that's finally some good advice for me. I'm not an originality buff really, but I've had cars in the past that I've modified by quite a bit on both tyres, springs and dampers, and I always found the best way to start with originals first... My 185s are a mix of goodyears and crap chinese, so I want to start fresh.
The amazing win-win situation og the Firestone Fuelsavers being that
a) they're quite cheap
b) Firestone were original equipment
c) Dag-Henning almost won the Autoslalom
Is by far enough arguments for me...
