I was there, in the stand next to the 'Super Shell' building. Very impressive performance, with lots of TV coverage of the Elan from both inside and outside the car on the big screens. Along with a very well prepared car, he had a fancy video setup.

There were cars in the race with multiples of the HP of the Elan, but it did extremely well. Interestingly there were some very fancy E-Types further down the field that looked and sounded amazing, but just couldn't keep up with any of the Elans.

As I posted in another thread, Goodwood isn't really an 'Elan' circuit with its very long flat-out straights and relatively few bends (given the size of the circuit), which makes the performance of the Elans all the more impressive.
