Midlands Meets

Hi Folks,
I'm still potentially in the market for a +2 & was hoping to take a look at some at a show, meet etc however, I've had a quick look on the forum & nothing is jumping out at me in terms of meets in the midlands area. I see there's a Notts meet 1st April but I can't make that one - can anyone advise of any other meets in the midlands April 5th onwards?
Regards,
Martyn.

Hi Martyn,
The midlands is a large area but Club Lotus have an evening meeting, 6.30pm at the Broom Hall Inn in Broom B50 4HE (wherever that is) second Thursday of the month. Club Lotus may be the best group for classic Elans as the other clubs seem to have a lot of that modern stuff.
Check with head office and they may give you a contact to check if it is on. I expect you will be made welcome as a guest. They can tell you if there is another meet closer to you.

As Steve has mentioned.
Castle Coombe 27th May. Lotus Track day.
By far the best option to look at cars and talk to owners. Its not just a track day, its owners meeting up and displaying their cars etc. There will be loads of Elans there and its a great day out.
If it was me I would hold off buying until after Castle Coombe.
