Karl Ludvigsen's work is excellent. I have the rest of the book!

The point about larger cars and weight (comparison of the Eclat and 911) is very true today with the Evora 3 (Emira) and 992 as both are podgy.

I am surprised that Lotus have fallen back into the trap of dropping sportscars in favour of chubby GTs especially as Toyota make the most amazing 3 cylinder Yaris GR engine (1.6T producing 260 bhp).

Elige sales were down, like the Élan.
Guess they figured you cant beat perfection, & the market was/is saturated.
Is Lotus, Lotus still, or is it very much NYO?
