TFL's new 'T Charge'

PostPost by: englishmaninwales » Sun Oct 22, 2017 2:55 am

To my surprise my 51 year old Elan is exempt of TFL's new 'Toxicity Charge' as judged by their own on line checker, as it reached 'at least Euro 4/IV standard.'

I have to say there is nothing quite like the oil/petrol aroma that eminates from the exhaust!

( My EU 2 Caterham, of course, fails!)

The website says all my cars are exempt including my 1924 Bentley. I wonder if the site is reliable :)

If the car is classed as a historical vehicle as per DVLA then it is exempt.

Hurrah !!

Yes, for sure, but I was amused by the statement that it was considered to have achieved EU4 standard!
