North East meet.. Get together.

Hi, I was wondering on how many owners live in the North East?
I'm from Bishop Auckland and was wondering if any members care to meet up on a Sunday, maybe once a month, for a natter about their cars.
SWMBO has a pub in Crook with a massive car park, but we would need to be away for 12.00 as it gets busy for Sunday lunches.
I'm sure we could do some coffees and teas for anyone interested.
Or anyone else with any venues/ideas for a meet? I don't mind travelling to meet like minded people who's into their cars.

As another northerner (Newcastle born and bred) I'd love to attend. Unfortunately I live in Canada now.

I've never driven my lotus on fantastic Northumbrian roads, but I hope to retire back there and I'll be bringing the +2 with me!

No personal knowledge of whether this still happens but Club Lotus are supposed to meet on second Wednesday here:
Newburn Hall Motor Museum,
35 Townfield Gardens,
Newcastle Upon Tyne,
Tyne And Wear
NE15 8PY

If your swmbo can lay on cooked breakfasts a breakfast meet can be quite popular. Meet to eat at 9am and plan to be away by 11/11:30 ish
