Help i.d. these two cables please

PostPost by: gjz30075 » Thu Sep 03, 2015 7:25 pm

I've come across two push/pull cables in my stash of parts and not certain of the origin. The total length
of the cable sheath is 23 inches. Part number tag attached shows 105E 6527. Cortina part maybe??
They were wrapped together, as if they are intended to be used as a pair, I think.

Any ideas?

Look a bit like a pair of dash mounted bonnet release cables being solid wire they look to be designed to be as you said push and pull. If they are the S3 ones they're quite rare and I think the last ones on eBay went for a lot of money. Hopefully someone with an S3 will be along in a bit!

That's what I first thought, too, but they seem awfully long for that.

Heater valve (and possibly air flap) control cables.

Wish that I could remember what they looked like on the 105E
