I am just getting things sorted for the Silverstone Classic.

I'll be there. I'm in Guards Trophy. Qualifying late Friday and race at around 1:30pm Sunday. I've got Michael Caine co- driving so hopefully he'll get me some extra time.

Looooong time since I've been to Silverstone...where are the best places to spectate these days?. I'll be there on Saturday.

Hi Paul,

Never got round to the garages when you were there.
your car had a few good tussles on that wet track during Sunday's race but not sure who was driving?
Where did you finish, the track looked very slippery- thanks for the entertainment

We finished 13th overall, 5th GT car (the other 8 were predominantly Chevron B8 sports racers) and 2nd in class. Not bad considering we were assigned a 17th row grid position.

I didn't enjoy the race - I was just too nervous with those conditions and so many cars on track. As it happened we got away with minor damage. Michael Caine did a very professional job as you'd expect
