I'm interested to hear what you know as I have heard of Elite bodies being planted on Elan chassis and running gear but never seen this sort of arrangement..

It looked better than just some cheap kit, somebody put a lot of time into it a few years ago.

Not sure that it has a genuine type 14 shell as there were no rear strut tops visible inside the rear window / parcel shelf area. It wasn't being passed off as a type 14 as it had the Triumph badge on the bonnet

I spotted 2 odd things that drew me to look in the first place. One was the rear wheels being at an odd camber angle and the single outlet exhaust with transverse silencer.
The dashboard looked the correct shape and layout but not the right trim finish inside.

Don't call me a purist, I liked seeing it there can't be many types 14 replicas or bitsas out there.
