There was a time when one was only allowed to say "Elfin in Adelaide"! - though my favourite open wheelers were always powered by Lotus!

A year or two back we ran an Anniversary Weekend to celebrate 50 years of the marque. Bill Hemming brought a number of cars back "home" from the Heritage Centre for a visit!

Yep, ours is #14 of 19 built. It's currently stripped to it's tub - we've got it's original Twin Cam plus a second Lotus motor, both nearing completion to run in it. Almost all of the Monos built have run Lotus motors, rither from new or in period. Some started life with iron head motors, one had a Clisby V6, a very early one had a Hillman Imp motor to start with. Success was acheived mostly with the Lotus motor though!!
