I am restarting the restoration of a 1967 Elan S3 DHC. Does someone have a recommendation for a shop in the northeast (I am in NJ) that has experience doing twin cam cylinder head / valve guide work (maybve even installation of valve seals) ?
Thanks

Not sure f these guys are still around. They did some work for me back in the 70's or 80's. No engine work but lots if other stuff and it was acceptable.

Ron, I am down in Baltimore and there are a couple of guys here that I could recommend. Also, you may want to do an archive search about valve stem seals on this site. Twin cams don't have them and general consensus is that they don't need them if the guides are fitted correctly. Dan

You might try Ray at RD Enterprises in PA 215-538-0158. He's a Lotus parts supplier and may know of a shop in the area. He's been pretty helpful and responsive when I've needed advice, and of course parts. No connection with him otherwise.
Good luck

Thanks to all who replied - indirectly through Ray at RD Enterprises I have located a guy in Leighton PA called Clarkson Engineering who seems to know his way around the twin cam engine. Anyone have some actual experience with this shop ? Once the work is done I will post the results.
