Middle years

I've had this photo up in my garages the past 20 years and thought I'd share it. It was taken at the 1990 Lotus Convention at Sear Point (now Infineon) Raceway in Sonoma, California. My elan is the blue one in the second row directly behind the black esprit. Amazing the range of cars even by then.

What a great picture and as you say, a fantastic variety. I think that we used to get a better range of cars in the 90s at shows in the UK than we do now. Maybe something to do with the age profile of the owners?!

Thanks for sharing.

That photo sure makes a great time capsule doesn't it? I have some pictures from 1995 at Monterey when Lotus was the features marque and it looks like many of the same owners are there. I need to to get them scanned some time. Thanks for sharing

Great shot. Is this part of the panoramic view, or wasn't that being done at that time?

I don't remember if there was a panoramic shot taken. This photo was a token gift for attending the convention weekend. I think there was a track day associated; I forget if I ran that one.

Gary, I'd like to see pictures you have of 1995 Monterey, if Lotus was the featured marque that year I'm pretty sure I was there.
