Cool new forum asks for best highways, so to get it started...
Here is a link to a site that highlights the best motorcycle roads in BC, Northern Cali & Washington State. I have the book for BC and it is excellent. The site has basic descriptions of each Destination Highway and its rating. The book series started in BC, and has expanded south. South Cali is the next in the series. Any favorites?

Could be fun to identify a few routes as LOG31 is in the west next year (Las Vegas, Oct 14 to 16 2011).

Great find, I've never seen that site before. Lots of roads in my area on there. My destination highway is either Hwy 50 from my house to Carson City or Hwy 50 to Hwy 28 around the east side of the lake and over and down Mt Rose Hwy to Reno. 1st way takes me 6500 to 7300 to 4500 ft. The second takes you up to 9000 ft and back down to 4500. Both drives have great twisties, however Hwy 50 is 4 lanes. I take one of those routes every day as I work in Reno, so I have a 65 mile one way trip to work everyday. There are so many wonderfull Lotus roads in this area it's incredible. LOG should come to the Tahoe area some time. Fernley raceway is close by the local airport has no commercial flights so lots of tarmac for autox, etc.

I haven't been on the site in quite some time, but as a moto guy, Pashnit was always a great source of inspiration.
