Yes,it was the place where the "Ton Up" boys went in the 60's.
A friend of mine has been although it was on a motor cycle gathering and he said it was great.
I set out to go once when it was a Lotus (and other) gathering but gave up returning home as I got stuck in horrendous traffic.
I have heard that it is more oriented for the Elise and modern Lotus then the Classic Lotus but I never bothered to try again so I would be interested in comments if anyone gets there.

I've been there a few times on motorcycle events. As usual with most places in London parking is the problem (at a rough guess, over about 50 cars / 200 bikes and the neighbours are starting to complain), but the location has just about the right amount of "down at heel seediness" to carry off the '50 transport cafe atmosphere (railway arch behind, North Circular (ring road, if you don't know London) in front). A good venue - even my kids (total non petrolheads) enjoy going there.

Hi Guys,
I've been meaning to visit for ages. I do fancy it, but every time I'm in London at Darling Daughters (as she calls herself!)
there has never been anything on I really fancy. I missed a large Lambretta 'do' by a few days once, but hey ho.. Darling D has been along with some time warp mods on scoots various on her modern Vespa. Before some Pr**k stole it from her. She said she enjoyed it very much. Good music too apparently.
Must make a point of going next time down...
Colin Curl (curly 26Rr) should be able to fill in a few blank spaces I think.
Curly ....Any Info?
Alex B....
