cannot believe how bad that documentary was - factually incorrect, visuals that mixed 30's, 50's, 60's, 70's and at one point 00's as if it was all the same era, and dumbed down beyond belief.

I tend to agree, but you should remember which sector it was aimed at.
We belong to a rather specialist group of enthusiasts which makes such a program appear as you say.
I made aspecial effort to see it & was dissapointed.
I missed the first showing of the series describing the Elise design & development & was very dissapointed at missing that.
Let's see what comes along next
