As a stickler for originality, are the headlight vacuum lines correct?

Translucent white on the early cars, black on the later ones.

Good to know.

Interesting since the translucent white looks like the modern stuff available now.

Indeed, I bought a big roll of the white for a lot less than some vendors wanted for a one car kit.

regarding questions around my MOT .. it is registered as an historic vehicle and i've kept up the habit of MOTing every year as a personal choice. My local garage looks forward to seeing it every year. I've never challenged peter james insurance regarding the requirements for insurance but note that for Club Lotus vehicle agreed value certification I 'm asked to send MOT with more than 30 days to them ... again I've never questioned this & it would be interesting to know if anyone has?

RD Enterprises in USA do the hoses and I think they do the larger size wire clips for the air ducting,

You can still drive your car. Just popping out for some milk!

Hi Daniel

In my case the car lives 8 km's away in my shed, explaining to the police that I'm driving up to collect my classic car to then collect the milk back in Manly may not wash if pulled over!!! And to make it worse, my historic registration ends tomorrow, so it will be last drive for a while as Service NSW is not doing in person registration renewals which is how they renew Historic rego's, not to mention all the running round to get physical inspections, club signatures etc!

Fortunately, I've a few projects to focus on which will progress as I'm now between contracts with new engagements all now on hold. So some good will come out of this.

I live in Morbihan Brittany France, you must have a special paper with you filled in: name, address, dated, time you left home, identity card.
Drive only to your nearest shop for needed things.
Police controls and if you are wrong 135€ fine+ go straight home.
Infected people seems to be stabilising so the shutdown maybe working. Let's hope so.
