Good to see you out and about Tim, our shared lunch with Adam on Wednesday obviously didn’t tire you too much. I only managed to get the +2 out on the drive today for its monthly winter start up and warm up, the S4 ThooperSprint will get a run tomorrow down to the seaside.

Keep up the good work with the car and look after Mrs W as well, see you again soon.

Well done for using the car this time of year and also for doing the right thing with regards to MOT testing.

Hopefully the DVLA will re-introduce some form of mandatory safety check now that the call for evidence is being reviewed.

The car is thoroughly original, as is that registration, which came with it when new. What a criminal shame it would be to part it out.

I have no idea what the value of the reg no is. I have seen other Elans with interesting original (UK) numbers, which have stayed with the cars. I guess it's all part of the car's story.

I woke up the neighbours at 8am this Christmas morning to take my SuperSprint for a test run. All the way to Kippings Cross near Matfield so I could test out my new gearbox linkage for NVH in 5th gear. Very successful and a great Christmas present from Mrs T
