Really Graeme, feels like not that long! How’s this for a timewarp, Our son Max started playing waterpolo recently and I dragged out my old cap and joined a training session, seriously old school was their response!
I’m lucky Max has taken an in the cars as well.
Keep safe

Very nice,
I had a SX2OO in 1966 brand new £216 quid.
Good fun on a Sunday to drive to Brighton with the other Pompey Mods lol
Vespas always popped the front wheel in the air to drop your girlfreind off the back. Wheels off set to compensate for weight of Engine on one side.
"Lambretta is better" with a "Wild Cat tuned Engine 225cc" Those were the days lol

I lift scooters sometimes with the hoist transmission lift
Today, I had to lift the floor transmission jack with the scooter lift

The Scooter and Motocycle conversation has moved over to:

We can now return to our normal Lotus conversations.

Seriously, this is a nice topic and it’s good to see what people are doing to their cars.

Topic drift not encouraged, but good to have some fun from time to time.
Kindest regards

I went for a drive to a relatively unknown castle ... to me anyway..

Then tried to change front brake pads and failed miserably and need to figure out how to push pistons back. I presume undo bleeder to release pressure?

I push mine back just after removing the pads with a broad chisel and just ease them back. No need to muck around with bleed screws. D

It should not be difficult, I generally use a broad screwdriver between the pad & disc on the edge of the pad (after removing pins. Your piston(s) make be seized?
