Have You a Photo of Your Elan in the 60s/70s?
I recall this a regular activity - frequent tipping in of GTX from stripseal tins!
Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the other Elan maintenance activities that seemed to fill all my weekends back then - rear hub bearing changes, renewing rotaflex, rear strut/damper replacement, water pump etc... such fun (not)!

My S2 in 1968
And the same car just before I sold it in 1972
It was originally silver with red interior, but I painted it cirrus white with flame orange bumpers (very 70s and a la BRM )
OOOPS, Sorry realized I've already posted this. Am I losing it ? Got to be worrying. I'll just go and curl up in the corner, talking to myself and dribbling

I have only seen a small number of these press shots where the word Sprint has been placed on the front grill; it was used in the Sprint brochure though on a RHD car and I also have a photo of a lagoon blue over white Sprint similarly plated.
This photo would have been taken in late 1970 or, more likely, early 1971 and probably by Monitor Press for Lotus. I like the way the sidelights look so bright!

This photograph was taken in The Mall, London,SW1 in front of Admiralty Arch.

Here's my +2 in 79 and 80. I've still got it and it's now done 100K miles in my ownership. It's still got 68K on the clock!!!!
