So if CTL took over the Paul Matty's Parts business...

How do you buy parts from them?
Classic Team Lotus & Paul Matty announced in May that Paul's part business was transferring to CTL in May. I remember seeing on facebook that all existing stock was transferred to Hethel, but I have not seen any mention of CTL selling Elan parts anywhere. No website update with parts... nothing...
And for the record, Paul reverse engineered & improved a lot of parts for the Elan... let's hope they will continue to be available from CTL. A good example were his Stainless Steel exhaust manifolds which I remember Paul telling me he had sourced from BMW Motorbike's (Motorad) supplier,

I presume you have to contact them with your requirements.

Good luck with that!
I can't find the page you show, can you post the URL? http://www.parts.classicteamlotus.co.uk/ is not live...

Same here...If I put in parts.classicteamlotus.co.uk in the address bar all I get is a blank page with 'That site cannot be reached'!
Unfortunately it seems that the business and marketing communication skills of whoever is in charge of this operation at CTL are rather lacking at the moment
Alan.

It’s not something they have done before beyond a few caps and t shirts so I’d expect it to take some time to set up. Surprised they have done it at all but I think the bloke at ctl who arranged it is mates with matty so probably why it happened.
I’d say that as mattys wasn’t the cheapest out there anything that Clive has something to do with will be even more expensive but that’s yet to be seen. I’d just use Sue Miller, SJ and Kelvedons tbh

Anyone know if this is up and running yet? My web search has been fruitless but perhaps I'm not looking in the right place!
Cheers,
Pete.

Thanks Mark; I had found that but, as it doesn’t appear to have many parts listed- zero, one, or two in each category, I assumed that there must be something elsewhere that I was missing.
It must be a massive job to list it all but, as it stands, it looks like one has to ring up and ask what they have got- like we did before this interweb thing existed, although vendors usually had a printed list available then!

The CTL website needs a serious overhaul, I hate to think how much business they are missing out on.
What parts are you looking for Pete?

Well Alan, you don't know until ya ain't got it!
It looks like there are lots of Elan parts listed in the +2 section (thanks to my confederates in the Cheshire Lotus Owners Group for pointing this out).
Two word description of the website: dog's breakfast.
Cheers,
