Thanks John,
sorry to be awkward but Freeview channel numbers are not the same every where and, anyway, I use satellite - no terrestrial signal here. Can you tell us what the channel is called

Well, I seem to have found it as I’m watching it as we speak.
The original reference was harking back to another forum I contributed to where any reference to Pirate Bay was often met with indignation from people who thought that media billionaires were being hard done by.
So basically a little joke that people generally get....

I love one of the opening clips of this documentary where it says: "...Even though the one thing Lotus has never been good at in recent years..." and then it moves to a new clip that says: "...is making money..."
Those two clips were from someone who obviously has never owned an Evora I would substitute the last with "...is making cars..."!
Seriously, Lotus is pinning its hopes on the Emira, but I fear that unless Geely bring in Mercedes Benz to educate the lads from Norfolk on the basics of quality control, it will be just another Lotus - a well designed car, but the laughing stock of production sports cars, and no way will it ever be able to compete with the Cayman as they hope.
A good programme though for us that like the marque and accept it for what it is. I do hope it all works out though, I really do, because if it does not then I cannot see the Chinese keeping it tethered.

I was at Lotus Silverstone in the week and they told me that the Emira order book is now at 8,000+. I also had a glance at the spec for the Emira GT4, price is a cool £160k

WOW!
I just do not see Lotus ready for that part of the retail market before proving the Emira. For that money I would be looking at Cayman RS, GT4 or GT3 first if for nothing else, quality. The Emira GT4 - as far as I can see - is the power plant from my Evora, a few added electronics and a reduction of weight (ok, quite a reduction - nearly 200kg ). I would be more excited to see Geely allow Lotus access to the latest tuning of the 2L engine currently at 415bhp and a project path to 500bhp. But I guess they have to commercially protect the A45
Again, I do hope it all works out!
