I took my car for a spin and only saw a couple of other classics out and about: a P5B Rover and a Mini.
A bright but cold day but I kept the roof down and put heater on full blast, a bracing drive in the fresh country air for most of the drive until a farmer also thought it was a good day to do some muck spreading, pooooo.

Seamus, I did my usual drive to Burnham on Crouch to go yacht racing, early yesterday morning. It was a wee bit too cold to have the roof down, according to my wife!
Though we saw no Lotus, we did see a bevy of modernish Porsches blatting by in convoy, a Triumph Roadster 2000, a TR6, then a host different cars parked up at the service station in Springfields, Chelmsford, including an Aston Martin DB6 and DBS, several American monsters and others I couldn't clock whilst whizzing past.
But not one MGB or C!
Tim

Got out in the Peak district with a nice run over the Snake pass, down the Derwent valley / Ladybower reservoir & the Strines
Roof down as usual , didn't see many other classics a Morgan, a Sprite and 3 mustangs...
Had a lot of moderns getting under the feet though

I had been soaking my stuck (hopefully) piston rings that had been sitting 30 years.
As earth day just passed, I figured it was okay to coast it downhill from the carport into the garage. Driving, without running or winning!
Didn't see any other cars that day as we stayed home, no American, Japanese or British alas. Also, we live on the edge of town and rarely see a car anyway.

Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!

I love the colour it looks the same as my first Elan and it is the only other one that I've seen in the same colour since. Unfortunately I wrote mine off in 1976, the colours in this old photo have faded somewhat.
