HRCR Scenic Tours

We went on one last Sunday, you don`t have to be a member. In fact we only knew about it because the lunchstop picnic was a mile away. It was brilliant; a nice breakfast at the start, coffee stop all organised, marshalled and included, and the picnic lunch was excellent. We weren`t expecting much so took along some tasty nibbles which we didn`t touch.

The route, though some of it was familiar being local, was first class and at the end was an excellent BBQ. I can`t recommend it enough and it turns out the HRCR, through local motor clubs, run something similar every few weeks, all over the country. Check their website.

They even send a free photo with the driver looking gormless and the navigator a hysterical simpleton:

Thanks for posting this, I will be having a look at the website as this type of day out is of real interest to me.
