GGLC Sierra Foothills - Dave Bean Tour - Winery Drive
When: Saturday Oct 27, 2012

BAY AREA START:Meet at 8am in Livermore at the Starbucks at 223 South Vasco Rd. Exit off I580 at Vasco Rd, Right on Vasco and go about 2 blocks.
We'll depart from Livermore and head up to Dave Bean Engineering in San Andreas. Dave & Roberta will open up their shop for an open house from 10am to 1pm. We'll then have a lunch stop, go for a drive and stop Twisted Oak winery.

SACRAMENTO START: Meet at 8am in El Dorado Hills at Peet's Coffee at 1005 White Rock Rd. Exit off Hwy 50 at El Dorado Hills Blvd and head south 2 blocks.
The group will depart from El Dorado Hills and find a few great Lotus roads on the way to San Andreas.

You can join us at Dave Bean's as well.


SCHEDULE
8:00am - meet at Starbucks on Vasco Rd in Livermore, depart at 8:15am
10:00am - Arrive at Dave Bean Engineering. Open house until 12:30pm
12:30-1:45pm - Lunch at Pickle Patch, San Andreas, CA
1:45-2:15pm - Drive to Twisted Oak Winery in Murphys CA
2:30-3:30pm - Winery Tour & Tasting
3:30-4:30pm - Drive to the home of Don & Betty Nester near Sonora

I'm starting to look for a place to retire back in California and was looking around the area (Twain Harte actually) might be a good time to see some west coast Lotus folks and check out a few places. Wonder how a lowly rental car would keep up? btw way the link to gglc.org is malformed.

It would a treat to see you at the drive!!!!
Don't worry if you show up in a rental. We'll accomodate it.

Twain Harte is a great area. Don & Betty, who are hosting the final stop are between Twain Harte and Sonora.
