Hi all!
My name is Nicolas, based in Paris, France, and i decided to join this forum in order to collect (and share) more information on everything related to Lotus Elans.
I just bought a pretty Elan S3 SE coupé from 1968 and i am in the process of doing a couple of settings (weber carbs sync and other things).
Looking forward to learning from the experienced Lotus fans here and to share news from the life of this French-sold Elan on this side of the channel, that got bought via the Paris Lotus store in 1968!
Cheers,

Welcome Nicolas,
fascinating that your car stayed in Paris for more than 50 years, nice history! Do you have any pictures for us?

Hello Nicolas
I also know another Nicolas with a S3 Coupé in the Paris area! No doubt he will be along soon.
I have a S2 in the middle of being restored!

Here is a couple of pictures. The newspaper was there as for French administration, when you want to update your registration to a collector status, you have to send pictures proving the date, hence the daily newspaper
