New Owner... kind of

Hi all,
At the end of the month, I'm picking up a 1969 S4 DHC. This is my stepfather's car, who is the original owner. I've been coveting this car for the better part of 45 years, so I'm really excited to finally be it's caretaker. The car is in excellent condition, but could use some mechanical love due to the car sitting too much. But rest assured, after a starter solenoid (according to my stepfather), some fresh brake fluid, maybe some pour-in fuel cleaner, and a quick look at the carbs' balance, this car is going to see some miles. I'm a big believer in driving and enjoying my cars.
Anyway, been lurking for a bit and collecting info, but wanted to introduce myself. I look forward to gleaning knowledge from you all and then passing it off as my own.

Congratulations!
One comment on long dormant S4's with ZS carbs: replace the fuel T between the carbs if it's the original plastic one. Metal ones are available from the usual Lotus suppliers.

Thanks for the hellos, everyone.
Good tip, Steve. I plan on giving the car a once over when I get it up here (trailering it from Arizona to Oregon). I'll add the "T" to my list.
