Looking for a car!

Hi all

New member here but I don't own a Lotus... I'm just trying to find one! I'm looking for my dad's old car.

Registration plate was AME 7H. It was an S4, from 1970 I believe. Does anyone still own this car, or has seen it recently?

It was red when dad sold it, then I think it changed to dark green with an orange bumper as I have found one picture of it online, but the trail went cold there!

Some info for you here:

1970 Lotus Elan Series 4 on AME 7H was first registered on 10th August 1970 in London NE, Middlesex.
Currently green. It was painted red previously.

August 7th 2016 MOT expired
August 2015 MOT Test at 59,685 miles, Pass
October 2014 MOT at 59,602 miles Pass
August 2013 MOT at 59,535 miles Pass
August 2012 MOT at 59,359 miles Pass
August 2011 MOT at 59,198 miles Pass
July 2010 MOT at 57,905 miles Pass
May 2009 MOT at 56,822 miles Pass

So as you can see, it has lead a fairly sheltered recent existence, very few miles put onto it. The good news is that it is still around in the UK somewhere and, judging by the consistent pass rate, well looked after.

If you have the VIN I may have additional info for you.

Thanks for the info, I don't have the VIN but I could ask my dad as he has a catalogued set of pics for every part when he stripped it and rebuilt it in the 80s.
