Hello,
The first time I rode in a sports car was in the back of Malcolm Rickett's +2, at the age of 12, some 50 years ago!!! Malcolm is a family friend and I've seen many of his cars over the years. Somehow I never got round to owning one until now.
I purchased an Elan Sprint after going to look at several examples over a period of months.
Being used to steel cars I found the panel fit of many Elan's very poor and it put me off. The car I bought was an exception and was a well looked after example with 65,000 miles from new. It also had a huge history file, original handbook and jack. Although the car has been re-painted, in other aspects it's very original...interior is original and the dash has it's original finish.
The car was well sorted by Nick Adams in Norfolk, so it goes and handles superbly.
I'm very impressed by the handling and performance of the car. It seems to do everything well.
I've had some problems with hot starting but otherwise it's a pleasure.
I'm located in Woodford Green, Essex, just to the East of London.

Hello Tim,
Yes we do!
I read your website from end to end before I started looking for a car. Thank you for the excellent information!
Whereabouts are you on the 'border'?
All the best, Tim

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.
