Hi all
I have recently acquired a 1972 Elan +2S 130 which hasn't done a lot of miles over the last few years and needs a bit of attention. Having said that, it did the journey back from Kent all the way without any problems!
The forum has already been a great source of invaluable information and I look forward to getting to know the car and other members here!

Hi There, Welcome to a fellow Yorkshireman (although I live down south now ) . Your car looks really good and I agree with Mark, its a cracking colour scheme. I am new to the club also and bought mine earlier in the year (February) - My journey back was from Derby to South Herefordshire, so not quite as far as yours but far enough for first time out with a car that hadn't seen use for a good few years! It also performed well and I was amazed by the attention it drew. Doesn't half feel small though when you're in it for the first time on Motorways after driving Moderns for years!! Hope all goes well.
Regards, Jonathan

Thanks all, ownership experience so far has been mainly under the car and in the engine bay giving that car a much needed refresh!

Hello, Yorkshire is a large County but incase you are local then there is the East Yorkshire Lotus Owners Club which meets at lunchtime on the second Saturday of each month at the pub in Bransburton. Ps Outdoor meeting at present. Check Facebook for more info. At least 4 have plus 2s

My neighbour who is an Elise owner told me about the meeting. I am near Wetherby, so quite a way from Brandesburton but my in-laws live in the village next to it so might be worth a trip!
