Rejoined

PostPost by: Chris-72sprint » Thu Apr 09, 2020 9:26 am

Hello All
After a 10 year break due to work, family etc I am restarting my Elan resto.
I have rejoined as I could not reset my old username (Chris-72-Sprint) due to defunct email address.
Anyway great to be back - I have recently retired so hope to have the Elan back on the road for summer
There are some pictures in the gallery under my old username.
Take care & stay safe
Chris

Thanks guys - this is a great forum :D
I have already used it to search for info - eg refit Steering column
I also spotted the carb side engine mounting was wrong (same as exhaust side) which explains why the air box used to hit body before car taken off the road in 2008. Now fitted correct part

Welcome back Chris. I had to change user names in 2008 too, forced to change email adddress/ u/n, so lost all my previous correspondence to the list. I'm not sure I can remember what my old u/n was, 12 years ago.
