At last we saw an Elan!
A Sprint too.
In fact, Adrian Newey's Sprint.

We usually go to either the Autosport Show or the Classic Car Show, both at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. As this show was only a few miles away we decided to give it a try.
?25 to get in. Just the one hall. Took us just under 3 hours to get round. The Classic Car Show at the NEC takes more than a day for a similar ticket price. We won't be going again.
There was a bright side, however. Antigravity Batteries had a stand and I was so impressed I popped down to their shop on Monday (only 15 miles away) and bought one.

Steve, I think you should bear in mind it was the very first show and therefore not likely to stand comparison with the long-established B'ham show. They have already said next year (in February) will be bigger.
You could get discounted tickets - mine was courtesy of the Sunday Times.
Here is Adrian Newey with his Sprint on the Grand Avenue with a few well known faces. (Photo from SCD).

PS Minilites Rohan! Non original!

Now you tell me!
In that case they should have had a ticket price commesurate with the size of the show. At least you could move around as it wasn't exactly jammed packed. Holding it on the same day as the racing car show at the NEC wasn't the brightest move either.
