Dear all
Well, the gearbox is in and ready for the engine..
slipped in a treat ( you can't beat a block and tackle ) leveled out with adjustable engine mounts..
and the exhaust manifolds are still a pig to fit,had to remove an engine mounting and cant it over
now for the ancillaries...

Extended winter rebuild....I'm sure the engines were designed to be level...except in the case of the elan...

Well, I'm at a bit of a flat spot at the moment, I ordered my new chassis from Spyder and I collect it next Tuesday. (very excited )
So soon I will be boring everyone with questions about everything I forgot to photo. In the meantime, I spend all my time reading up on old posts. Fascinating how much info there is to learn (including the fact that I didn't know about adjustable engine mounts)
If I look like I'm always logged on, it's because I leave my notepad on and don't log out, I'm on ebay the same way. Sad really
