Winter rebuild 4

One of the most fidliest jobs I find is during the grinding-in process of the valves, assembling and checking and re-assembling/re-checking...those collets are a bugger...and I'd rather only do it the once...well I've found a solution

Stainless spring steel strips ( I bought 10 for ?5..made a mess of two of them,)

straighten them out (that's where two of them broke),angle grinder cuts a slot just wide enough to fit the valve stem cut-outs

fit one,then the other

and then lock them together with a little folded aluminium

Fill with whatever you fancy and leave to stand (looks like I'll have to look at No2 again..)
