Top Gear--Old Peoples Car

PostPost by: GrUmPyBoDgEr » Mon Feb 25, 2013 3:44 am

When the sketch started with them getting beige paint matched to a hearing aid I knew this was going to be another Top Gear classic. Sublime!
Maybe it will be in for some criticism for involving those old folks but I'm pleased I recorded it because the next time I view it I will have a few beers handy so that when the sketch reaches that stage again I will be rolling around on the floor in laughter.
This time they've achieved "Fawlty Towers" quality!

And for once they actually managed to improve things - that Fiat looked quite good with the Rover badges and grill

I got the distinct impression that the old folks enjoyed themselves. They were all probably fighting each other to see who was going.
Glad of a good day out :D

Just seem it. Quite enjoyable. I think a front bumber like that should be compulsory on all new cars.

Richard.

Just watched it on iPlayer (for us cool kids). One of the better recent TGs!

I agree Richard; compulsory bumers like those would be good, especially in beige.
