Well lets see, the sun came out, then it drizzled some more, then we got a few snow flakes, sun back again for a few more minutes, more drizzle, some wet sleet, a full rainbow and more drizzle. All in all a typical new england style day where most anything can happen. No drive today so I worked on the sows ear. You will all laugh, did a rookie mistake and installed the body without the grounds strap on the rack, nearly impossible to get a wrench on the cap bolt that the ground strap goes to and was able to just get an open end wrench in there and loosen it, I slid a forked 3/8 inch C ring under the bolt and called it a success. Got voltage to the air horn compressor and a good ground but no joy with the Toot toot toot, so with the temp at 38F right now, I gave up. I tested the compressor before I put it in so I just don't know, better to give up than thrash on it as it not going anywhere soon. Ha Ha Ha :D

It was 31 (-0.5) at Lake Casitas (the '84 Olympic rowing venue) for practice this morning at 6:30 AM. The water was frozen in the water fountain. As soon as the sun poked its head above the mountains, it was glorious.

Hi Ed

It will probably come out, it was an old one from who knows which wreck and I tested it just before I installed it and it did go Toot Toot Toot. Like I said need to give it a rest and think a bit about it then go at it again, it is the last of the electrical and not a lot left after that but I'll have to spend some money then...

90 days till spring :D

It's 6pm and I've just put the cold beer down to type this.
Quick look at the thermometer says 87F, or 30C.
Weather's getting better and better and I've had some great "work" trips out in the country on our deserted roads.
Bit of a worry though when I got caught out in a brief shower the other day and had to put the hood up. I think that's the third time in the last 21 years and it's getting tiresome..... :)

Cheers
Ralph.

Geez that kind of constant N Z weather is not good for you, the human body needs to be frozen quite regularly or you fur falls out and certain members grow to a very large state impeding your walking ability ====ed

Well the sun was up bright and early this AM so out I went to plow the lane! Temp has dropped as normal but at least the winds stopped.
Ed should be about your area next. Enjoy and have a nice Christmas!

Cold and wet and windy in Brindisi southern italy when I left today - cold and snow and fog in Milan where I changed planes. Just cold and wet in Frankfurt where I am waiting for my next plane to Singapore where it is hot and humid.

By the time I get back to Melbourne for Christmas the weather there will have change 5 times and it could be anything.

Have a good Christmas all

cheers
