But Graham Hill appeared twice!

Watch these spaces...hopefully the BBC won't be too long in working through their archive.

Good listening, I reckon, when they do!

This reminds me of a certain Canadian champion race driver who would lock himself in his truck and listen to Winston Churchill speeches on his car cassette for an hour before each race and came out ready to fight on the beaches and breathing fire and brimstone . Im just beginning to realize racers are not of the normal cut . ..ed

Interesting musical choices from Jimmy and Graham; there is a Lotus
connection in each of their lists.

Any offers?

Very good! :D

For an extra point- one of the pieces of music was played at my wedding... which?

Clue: I was born in Cumbria.

Graham Hill enjoyed the Eton Boating song (aka Jolly Boating Weather) since he was an oarsman in the London Rowing Club. That's a great little ditty.

BBC archives have now got back to 1977 (Barry Sheene). Next up is Graham Hills' second entry from 1974.

(Note that they are downloads to keep 8) )

Great topic, I'm bumping, what about Dan Gurney's favourite? The Elan and rock and roll are inseparable.

Absolutely - Jimi Hendrix owned and drove an Elan.
