I'm just contemplating the best way to fit & locate the Lifeline 1.5kg mechanical fire suppression system. 4 nozzles to be piped in - 2 into engine bay & 2 elsewhere.

Though the link is for a UK retailer I have ordered the system from the Aussie distributer in Qld.

Cockpit is straightforward - engine bay ones may end up rearward facing

Hoping to get the bottle onto the tub floor between my knees (or slightly forward of knees)

Under the knees in front of the seat or behind the engine on top of the gearbox seem to be the favorite locations for historic rear engined open wheelers

A quick weekend working bee trip has gotten the harness bolted and wrapped in and the fire suppression system underway.

First public outing in 45 + years, at the Hobart Motorsport Expo this weekend, we went with the newly painted second set of bodywork in red - to match the type 300 Sports Racer.

A little bit of Scotland for the Mono, a Caledonian hide to make a new seat and cockpit lining - am thinking about sewing a sheepskin into the seat instead of foam.
