Another shipping rant...

I wouldn’t send a parcel to Europe after my experience sending Christmas gifts to friends in the Netherlands .The parcel was sent several weeks before Christmas and finally arrived at the end of February. During the saga my friends were asked to pay 30 euros import duty without my knowledge, the courier several times upgraded the status saying it would be delivered on that day and then there would be a problem for which I could never get an explanation.
Eventually the parcel just turned up at my friends house and I still don’t know what the problem had been but the whole Saga had cost about 3 times the value of the contents of the parcel.
Never again.
