I'm a member of several Forum's, either from ownerships of various Marques, or what I own at any one time, and have to say, compared with most of the others, I find this Forum the least antagonistic of any of the others I'm active, or were active with.
Try one or two of the Porsche Clubs...........

I've got to say that in my (limited??) experience the only forum that I have found as friendly and helpful as this one is 911UK. Porsche Club UK is another matter!!!!!

I also think the reason that the two forums are so successful is that they both cater for enthusiasts who love their cars more than their egos. Even here you get the odd exception but I can easily ignore that and other cars sites are not all the same.....

Congratulation on reaching the coveted Fifth Gear, 5 star status and thanks for your input on the forum.
Hope over time you will reconsider your decision and begin to contribute again to perhaps the best Classic Lotus Forum.
