Sad day - Judith Durham passing

PostPost by: miked » Sat Aug 06, 2022 5:38 pm

I believe Judith passed away yesterday. Very sad to hear this. Australia's finest. Childhood great memories or her and the guys. Sound of the sixties for me. Great harmonies from them all but what a voice Judith had. I bet the guys are gutted.
If you haven't listened since the sixties, do so. Great body of work form The Seekers and Judith as a solo artist.

I've just become aware of this Mike - happy memories of The Seekers playing in the background at home as a wee nipper, very much the signature to my childhood.

She had a lovely voice and they belonged to the age of wholesome music which sadly is long gone.
