He could probably go on for another 7 years!
Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!

Well Lewis & Mercedes record of seven World Championship's now equals that of Lotus. Lets see just if they can go further, who knows, but a great day for them all the same.

I wonder if Bottas feels the same way?
Ask Bottas what he feels about team orders to stay behind. Though Hamilton is probably better than Bottas Hamilton is just not as good as some of the true greats who could win in anything half competitive. Put Hamilton in a Renault and lets see where he comes !

I don’t think he gets enough credit for his achievements, to be honest.
Think about it, he can ace Street circuits like Monaco and Singapore; ultra fast circuits like Monza and Spa; technical circuits like Hungary; he is brilliant in the wet; he has excellent racecraft - doesn’t run other drivers off the track.
He has won in every single year he has been in F1.
Yes he has had the best cars over the last few years but I feel he’s deserved it.
Just my twopenneth

I have a lot of respect for him. He has grown and matured a lot as a person since coming into F1. I certainly didn't have much time for him when he first got to F1 but that has now changed.
I don't think he is necessarily the fastest driver in F1, that is probably Max. But I think he is the best all around package, fast, minimal mistakes, race craft, race management, car development and work effort.
I wouldn't claim Bottas and Rosberg are in the elite F1 drivers club but they are fast drivers and in the upper end of drivers in F1. They could easily win a championship or two on merit, but the fact Hamilton has won 6 of 7 for me say there is some merit to the claim he special. Whether he is as special as the number say, that is harder to judge!

I normally hold Rohan`s opinions in high regard but in this case he`s approaching Trump levels of delusion. Clearly Hamilton is outstanding, unlike Schumacher he doesn`t have special tyres, his team mates don`t move over to let him win and, most of all, he doesn`t cheat.
He has the fastest car at the moment but so did nearly all past world champions, engineering that is part of what makes a champion.
