Can I use a modern Digital DWELL & TACH

Hi I was wondering if I can use a modern Digital DWELL & TACH on my Positive Ground Lotus
71JRvFQ2j9L._SL1500_.jpg and
example is a BTMETER BT-770K..

No reason at all why not. I use a similar tool on a positive earth MGA.

It looks like a very useful general purpose multimeter.

That looks like a nice kit. I have an Actron (private label cheap consumer chinese bosch) and it works great.
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.

Thanks for the info.. Now that is will work .. Do I connect the positive red to the ground and negative to power (Distributor) as in the old models of dwell gauges..
